South Baldwin Regional Medical Center offers clergy support to those patients who request such services. With new federal guidelines on privacy issues, it has become a requirement for our patients to let us know if they are willing to accept clergy visits.
Patients are asked this question upon admittance, and if they do not want clergy visits, the clergy will not be allowed to do so. Patients may also request that the hospital contact a member of the clergy for them. This may be done through the hospital's nursing department.
Our dedicated "Chaplains" are pastors from the South Baldwin community. For further information about South Baldwin Regional Medical Center Chaplains, please contact Jackie Livingston at 251-949-3563.
