Health Woman Anniversary Celebration

South Baldwin Regional Medical Center (SBRMC) will celebrate the two-year anniversary of its Healthy Woman Program on May 15th at The Wharf Conference Center in Orange Beach. The celebration will include a full day of events celebrating Healthy Lifestyles. Healthy Woman is a free community resource program featuring a series of monthly seminars, educational programs and interactive events that focus on the emotional, physical and fiscal well-being of women of all ages. Currently more than 1,200 members strong, the program’s mission is to empower women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed health care and well-being decisions for themselves and their loved ones.

The day’s activities will start at 8:00 AM with a 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Fun/Run to benefit the March of Dimes. The public is then invited to the Women’s Lifestyle and Fitness Expo in the Wharf Conference Center from 9:00 AM until 5:30 PM. There is no fee to enter the Expo where more than 50 booths will feature health information and demonstrations, partner exhibits and giveaways, new procedures in beauty enhancements, a fashion show, and more.

The Expo will be followed by an Evening Dinner Program, featuring Alison “Ali” Vincent, the winner of the hit show The Biggest Loser Season 5, and the first-ever female winner. Vincent is a dynamic and inspirational speaker, television host, philanthropist and author. Speaking on her book “Believe It Be It”, Vincent will inspire as she shares her physical, mental, and emotional journey of becoming the Biggest Loser. The cost for the dinner and program is $20 for Healthy Woman members, $25 for non members.
