June 23, 2010- South Baldwin Regional Medical Center (SBRMC) recently announced the winners of the employee of the month and the Dr. John Foster Patient First Award for the second quarter of 2010. The award is given to an employee who has been nominated by their peers for outstanding patient care and service to the hospital. The recipient of the Dr. John Foster Patient First Award receives a check for $250, free meals in the dining room for a quarter, a picture displayed in the dining room for a quarter, an individual plaque and is eligible for Employee of the Year.
Employees of the month receive a check for $100, free meals for a month in the dining room, and Employee of the Month paperweight and are eligible for the Dr. John Foster Patient First Award.
Employee of the month for April, is Nell Taylor. Taylor serves as a clinical nurse on the West Wing Unit.
Employee of the month for May and winner of the John Foster Patient First Award is Dan Bill. Bill is the Security Team Manager for SBRMC.
Employee of the month for June is Tonya Tucker. Tucker serves as the Infection Control nurse at SBRMC.
All three of the employees at SBRMC have been described as caring, dedicated and going far beyond what is required of their job. They each serve as role models to other employees and compassionate caregivers to patients and other guest at SBRMC.
