Tyra Simmons, left and Helen Underwood are all smiles at a recent retirement party held in their honor at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center. Simmons and Underwood were honored for a total of 46 years of service in the laboratory and to patients at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center. After working weekends for 19 years Simmons is looking forward to being off on the weekends and spending more time with her family. Underwood will be spending more time with her grandchildren and working in her church and the community. Underwood retired after 27 years service.
