South Baldwin Regional Medical Center Announces Employees Of the Month and Quarter

FOLEY, AL (April 17, 2012) - South Baldwin Regional Medical Center has named Steve Wright, Cardiopulmonary Rehab Coordinator as Employee of the Month for January.  Wright was also recognized as the Dr. John Foster Patient First Award Employee of the Quarter for the Q1. Also recognized as Employees of the Month were Rick Davis, Maintenance Technician in Plant Operations as Employee of the Month of February and Pam Callahan, CNA in the GI Lab, Employee of the Month for March.

Steve Wright was recognized for being a very compassionate, enthusiastic nurse who has helped numerous patients regain their strength and get back their lives. Wright has been an employee of South Baldwin Regional Medical Center since June 1995. As Employee of the Quarter and winner of the John Foster Patient First Award, Wright received a check for $350; free meals for a quarter in the café, an individual plaque, his photo displayed in the café and is eligible for Employee of the Year. Wright was also recognized in a hospital wide celebration.

Employee of the Month for February was Rick Davis, Maintenance Technician in Plant Operations.  Davis was recognized for his quality of work and willingness to take on any project. As winner of the Employee of the Month for February, Davis received a check for $100, free meals for a month in the café, an employee of the month paperweight and was recognized in a hospital wide celebration.

Employee of the Month for March was Pam Callahan; CNA in the GI Lab. Callahan was recognized for being a team player and always willing to help with “open arms”. Callahan received a check for $100, free meals for a month in the café, an employee of the month paperweight and was recognized in a hospital wide celebration.

The Hero Award was presented to Keith Gross, Sleep Disorders Center Director. Gross was recognized for going above and beyond and truly providing exceptional service for his patients. Gross received a check for $100, a SBRMC Hero Polo shirt, and a designated parking spot and was recognized in a hospital wide celebration.
