Safe Sitter Course Offered

Foley, Al (May 27, 2010) - South Baldwin Regional Medical Center will be offering a Safe Sitter course this summer for boys and girls between the ages of 11 to 13. The course is a medically accurate program that teaches boys and girls how to handle emergencies when caring for children. The class teaches safe and nurturing child care techniques, behavior management skills and appropriate responses to medical emergencies. The class will be held at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center on Monday June 14 from 9-4. Children will receive a Safe Sitter Manual and a completion card. The class fee is $35. To register please call 251-949-3676. Children are asked to bring a sack lunch and money for a soft drink. A snack will be provided.
