Children's Health
You want the best for your child, from good nutrition to effective discipline to a breadth of life opportunities.
South Baldwin Regional Medical Center is focused on the services offered for children and their families daily by our clinical staff and specialized physicians who have the experience and knowledge needed to provide confidence and comfort for the parents and their children.

We believe that the pediatric initiative begins before the child is born. Our hospital's concentrated Tiny Toes educational program provides important health tips and 'what to expect' information in monthly newsletters sent to our expectant mother's during their pregnancy along with the opportunity to attend varied childbirth education classes taught by our certified clinical staff.

Once the baby is born and growing into a child, we focus on every need that the child and parents might encounter for the future regarding emergency care, specilized therapy needs, etc. From the 'sea' view in the pediatric emergency treatment room to the specially designed 'jungle' therapy gym, we understand the need for comfort and fun from the child's perspective while being cared for and continuing a healthy lifestyle.

Our pediatric clinic offers therapy to children of all ages with diagnoses from very mild to severe developmental problems. Our therapists are certified and experienced working with children with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Down's Syndrome and many other diagnoses.
