Cardiac Care at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center focuses on the functions and disorders of the heart and its connected circulatory system. According to the American Heart Association, 84 million people in the U.S. suffer from some form of cardiovascular disease, affecting blood flow throughout the body. Cardiovascular disease can lead to heart attacks, strokes or other serious complications.
Our cardiac and vascular services include programs that help patients achieve a heart-healthy lifestyle, as well as provide diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation before, during and after a cardiac event.
At the Heart and Vascular Center at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, board-certified cardiologists and vascular surgeons, specially trained cardiac nurses and technologists work hand-in-hand to help patients and their families feel comfortable, safe and informed during cardiovascular procedures. We are Baldwin's County's only accredited echocardiography laboratory.
