Pulmonary Rehabilitation
At South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, pulmonary rehabilitation focuses on individuals who have been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, chronic obstructive bronchitis, asthma, reactive airway disease, pulmonary fibrosis or other lung disorders.
Our pulmonary rehabilitation team customizes an exercise and education program designed to help patients achieve and maintain an appropriate level of physical activity in line with your health condition. Education sessions seek to help patients understand and manage lung disease and breathing difficulties.
The pulmonary rehabilitation program at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center requires a doctor's referral. Physicians can fax referrals to (251) 949-3417.
